ADOPTION INFORMATION

Horses coming into our adoption program are extensively evaluated on the ground and under tack before being placed up for adoption. Horses are also evaluated to determine the level of rider or handler needed and the best new career options based on the horse’s natural ability or physical limitations.

Though ideally, we are searching for forever homes for our “friends,” any horse adopted out by Next Furlong can return to our farm at any time, for any reason.

We currently horses coming in this summer and will be looking to find their forever home. Please contact Mary or Dawn to set up a time to meet our horses.

 

 We do require a minimum of one farm visit to meet and work with the horse you are interested in adopting.
